So honored to receive notice today of winning the 2nd Place Award in the adult fiction category of the Chautauqua Writing Contest in Wytheville, Va. I submitted a short story called THE GOLDEN YEARS, about a woman with Alzheimer’s Disease plus her son and daughter coping with that reality and cherishing the memories of their childhood with a mother who is now gone.
